project offered us some interesting challenges, but we enjoyed meeting them and figuring out how to overcome them. We generally do not build pools but we have been doing concrete work for this customer for many years and when he came to us about doing the pool we were confident that we had the knowledge and expertise to complete the job.
convenience store parking lot is over 45,000 square feet. All of the parking lot is poured at 6” thick and there is ½”rebar 2 foot on center over the tank pads. These convenience store parking lots usually take us 2 weeks to complete and we usually do 2-3 of them each year. We have been working for the company that builds them for over 20 years.
project is at Peavey Red Rock, which is a barge terminal on the Mississippi. We started working at this barge terminal about 12 years ago when we installed a truck scale. Since that time we have been back to this location 3-5 times a year to work on other project. This particular picture is of one section of a 250’ long 18’ thick slab that we poured. The slab is for an enormous equilibrium crane that unloads the barges below. To help understand the size of this crane… each scoop it takes from the barges is 10 cubic yards.
is a giant workshop that we built for Tony so that he could have a place to restore his cars. This is a 2 story garage, each level is 28’X40′. The upper floor was done in spancrete and the walls are 20′ tall built with Amvic insulated concrete forms. This garage was built next to his existing house on a down slope from the road.
